The whole story started when J-P was running out of money. A new job, and some dudes that he never heard of. This is where J-P met Phil for the real first time. Both passionated by music, the two guys talked about starting a band. "One guitar, one drum. But dude, we need a bass!" said Phil. Back home, J-P hung up the phone and called Jonathan, from his previous band called My Failed Attempt.
Now, they were three. Enough to write some songs and produce themselves. Three months later, a new sound have made it through; Lineout was gaining popularity. A year passed by, until the band realize they should get a second guitarist for a better live sound. Recently, P-O gave his chords and voice to Lineout. A new way, a new beginning!

Si tu joues au Québec tu connais certainement Emergenza, le concours live ouvert à tous les groupes de compositions originales qui depuis 10 ans sélectionne avec des concerts au Club Soda et à l'Olympia des groupes de Montréal qui participeront au Taubertal Open Air festival en Allemagne.
