Beyond Atrocity est né en mai 2009. Après la dissolution de "A Better Way forward" début 2009, Alexandre Laquerre (guitare), Jean-François Carbonneau (basse) et Sébastien Hélie (batterie) ont eu plusieurs essais, peu concluants, de chanteurs. Avril 2009 marqua la fin de Crest of Honor, un groupe avec lequel de forts liens avaient été tissés. Après avoir manifesté leur commun désir de continuer à composer de la musique, Sébastien Guguy (voix) et Martin Ferron (guitare) ont tout naturellement joint les autres pour donner vie à Beyond Atrocity. En octobre 2009, le groupe est entré au Studio Radicart avec Françis Perron pour l'enregistrement de leur première pièce "Insincerity In This Modern Romance". Cette dernière est sur la compilation "DISTORSION Volume 1" de Footswitch Records.

In the beginning of 2009, after the dissolution of “A Better Way forward", Alexandre Laquerre (guitar), Jean-François Carbonneau (bass) and Sébastien Hélie (drums) had many non conclusive experiences with vocalists. April 2009 would mark the end of Crest of Honor, a group with which extensive bonds has been attained. After having manifested the desire to continue composing, Sébastien Guguy (voice) and Martin Ferron (guitar) joined the other members of the group, thus giving a new vocation to Beyond Atrocity. In October of 2009, the group recorded their first single “Insincerity In This Modern Romance” with Studio Radicart and Françis Perron. This track was in the Footswitch Records "DISTORSION Volume 1" compilation.

Bonjour,
Si tu joues au Québec tu connais certainement Emergenza, le concours live ouvert à tous les groupes de compositions originales qui depuis 10 ans sélectionne avec des concerts au Club Soda et à l'Olympia des groupes de Montréal qui participeront au Taubertal Open Air festival en Allemagne.
Pour venir voir une soirée gratuitement écris-moi je te mettrai sur Guest List.
Ton groupe est actif, joue des compos et veut jouer live allant peux-être jusqu'en Europe, inscris-toi sur le site www.emergenza.net avant que les slots de booking ne soient complets.
