Biographie

When Silence Remains is a newly formed six piece band from Gatineau Quebec, getting more and more serious as they go on. Everything started when former guitarists (Marc and Max)'s love for music went further than just "playing around". They decided they wanted to add drums to their sound, position now filled by Nick.
With different influences and styles in mind, the young band started playing just for fun, experimenting their sound. After jamming together for about a year, it was time for them to bring the depth that they needed. No singer and no bassist won't get a band very far. That's when Mat and Pier-Luc appeared, both looking to start a band together, their plans came to life sooner than expected. At first, the band wasn't quite too sure about having two lead singers, but it didn't take long before they changed their minds.
At that point, When Silence Remains was mainly playing covers, to get the hang of playing all together, and knowing themselves a little better. A month and a half later, Mat brought one of his friends (Carl) to try out for the bass. With his amazing anticipation, he was the perfect match.
Now with a full line-up, When Silence Remains is in the process of composing new material and doing shows, to get themselves a solid fan base.
