Broken Tie is a punk rock band from Drummondville (Quebec) that was formed during fall 2008. The band counts four members: Dominic Bisson plays guitar, Mick Bernier is the lead singer, Jean-Benoit Lasanté plays drums and Pierre-Luc Boisvert is the bassist.
Even though Jean-Benoit Lasanté (who works with Gregory Charles, Garou and many other artists from the Quebec music scene) and Pierre-Luc Boisvert (who plays with Les Trois Accords) are busy with their own career, the four members took the necessary time to make up a music demo.
While being influenced by the punk rock californian style from well-known band like NOFX, Lagwagon, Blink-182 and many more, Broken Tie has found its own energetic and catchy sound.
