Formed in 2003, the canadian band didn't waste any time before recording their first ep "Bloody Breakfast". They released it on their very own record label (Les Disques Grabuge) early 2004, followed by a 5 weeks U.S./Canada tour. It's crystal clear, this five-song tease shows this band's superior export appeal. This rugged rock'n'roll group sounds almost as gutter-laden as they do professional and while that could have been tragic, it's actually rather infectious! Bloody Breakfast's title track appeared in 2004-2005 as the theme song of the skateboard TV show: THE UNDERATTACK SHOW (Season 1&2), broadcasted on Canada's national channel Razor, and on Quebec's favorite music channel MUSIQUE PLUS. The song also made it's way on a 4x4 DVD called Full Throttle and as “bonus track” on their latest CDep Demerits, released in 2005.

With Julien from MALAJUBE on bass, their latest 7 songs ep came out on Blue Skies Turn Black; record label and show promotions team run out of Montreal Canada. “Taking nods from Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu and Rocket From the Crypt (essentially all things John Reis), Dirty Tricks hunker down and dig in to create some serious thinking-man's rock coming right from the gut, with clichés kept at arm's length”.

They played with: TSAR, The Ponys, The International Noise Conspiracy, C'Mon, Malajube, Tricky Woo, Two Gallants, The Sainte Catherines, Dinosaur Jr., Metric, Turpentine Brothers and many others... They will be touring both Canada and US in 2006-2007.
Their first ever full length album called “Sauve qui Peut!’’ will be released this spring and the buzz and excitement for it is totally crazy. Be ready for them cuz they’re ready for you.
