We were all born in the early to mid ‘80s and so punk rock, pop, and arena rock permeated our childhoods. Most of us started our first bands together and have remained loyal to each other for the last six years. The overriding sense of togetherness and cohesion is what contributes to the success (our version) of this project. Luck certainly has something to do with it; a lot of our friends are producers, promoters, label owners and members of other great bands that have helped us along the way and given us colossal amounts of motivation and belief in ourselves. We released an independent 6 song EP entitled "Community-Level Rituals" in May 2007 right before our first pan Canadian tour. This EP helped to secure us a spot on Canadian Indie, Freedumb Records which will be releasing our first full lenght, "BLASPHEMY." in November 2007. We have opened for bands like YOU SAY PARTY! WE SAY DIE!, THE ATARIS, HOSTAGE LIFE, THE BLACK MARIA, ONLY CRIME, KILL THE LIGHTS, MUGSHOT, SUBB among other

Le titre choisi signifie-t-il quelque chose en particulier pour vous ?
Oui, ça représente un compromis. En tant que groupe, on se querelle assez souvent (le genre de rivalité d'enfants et des parents) à propos de notre musique. quand notre 'Label' nous a demandé quel était le nom de l'album, nous avions environ 10 différents noms en tête, mais aucun sur lequel nous étions tous d'accord. J'ai suggère 'Blast-phemy' (Blast.. comme une explosion.. Explode & Rebuild.. vous comprenez?) en tant que nom ridicule pour alléger la tension qui entourait cette décision, mais Blasphemy (Blaspheme) en est ressortit, alors c'était notre compromis.
