?FETHE REKKENING is a Female fronted punk/metal crossover band with elements of thrash!
Created in 2008 Vancouver, BC the band relocated to Montreal, Canada in 2017.
Their music is full of ATTITUDE and ABRASIVENESS with an “In-Your-Face' old school sound.
THE REKKENING is definitely a think outside the box type band.
Their versatility and style cannot be put into a specific
genre. THE REKKENING's true staying
power is in every song being different and
keeping everything real and raw !!
THE REKKENING is the ultimate party, head Banger Band !
All wrapped up into one EXPLOSIVE package !
The meaning behind the lyrics are empowerment and not taking any shit from anyone!
The band is known for their energetic live shows and audience participation.

THE REKKENING has been on hiatus since 2020.
The band has reformed with New members 2023.
This is a success story of an underground band that was killed by the pandemic and rose up from the ashes !
