Formed in October 2004, Delsondrive is a band from Montreal (Canada) that quickly got noticed through mp3 listening sites and many shows throughout the province. In 2005, they performed at the Vans Warped Tour in Montreal. Since then, their songs have been played often during online radio shows such as the Punk Rock Show on 4Q Radio and The Captain & Caseys Show on Fuel TV.
The first EP of Delsondrive has rapidly sold among all ages crowd. Completely self produced, this independent release marked the starting point of a journey that so far as been worth the trip for them and their fans.
In fact, "A Penny for a Ride" had already sold more than 1000 copies 6 months only after its release in late March 2006. These numbers are very impressive considering that the majority of these sales were made only in Quebec and without the help of any distributor. For the past 4 months, the band has been focusing on touring intensively outside of Quebec (Ontario, New-Brunswick, Nova-Scotia) where they were acclaimed by their new audiences.
Lately, they've been working on some new material that have been very well received by their fans and the industry. The release of a first full-length effort is planned sometimes in 2007.

Comment vous êtes-vous retrouvés à Fuel TV?
Fuel TV nous ont contacté sur MySpace pour nous demander si on accepterait que "Breathless" et "Let Me Know" soient utilisées durant l'émission "The Captain and Casey's Show". Nous avons évidemment accepté étant donné que ça représentait pour nous une belle opportunité de se faire connaître à l'extérieur du Québec.
