We are Words.

Formed at the end of summer 2006, Quebec City's Words was quickly up on its feet and ready to show their local scene what the band is about. Playing their first show only two weeks after their first practice as a complete band, Words still hasn't lost any momentum. It really is no surprise considering the people behind the instruments, though. Words has a very impressive pedigree of bands including Mi Amore, Commando, Nihyl & Monocycle, among others. This, however, does not mean anyone could expect what would hit them the first time they would witness the band's live show. Knowing each other from their implications in the local scene, these five friends got together with the clear intent of playing music that combines everything they've always loved about punk rock since they first got into it in the 90's: the music, the message, the values. Words packs a greatly needed socio-political punch to the face of their local hardcore / punk scene with their very own brand of heavy but still groovy metallic hardcore.
